Little rockets

When I was a kid, my parents bought rockets in large quantities in June festival season of fun for me. So I loved selling things, then asked them to buy a stall so I would sell little rockets.
While other kids had fun dropping little rockets, I enjoyed selling them. Until one day my grandmother decided to buy everything I was selling, and then I returned everything. I was super happy because "sold" everything, and because I won the same foguetinhos to play.

A Game Forever (Diego Cosme)

When I was a child, a fact that impressed me was a football game. The year was 2003 and I was 10 years old. My father, my mother and I went to watch the game at the stadium Mangueirão Paysandu x São Paulo. In this game, the Paysandu won the São Paulo for 5 x 2 with goals of idols Robson (3), Lecheva  and Iarley.

Is not the first time I went to the stadium, but it was very important for the victory of my team's heart and be with my parents at a very good time.

Fun photos.

Gain turned 18, my father gave me a gift Iphone. And I found it nice! Inside it contained several applications and many games! I spent several moments filling that small technological object to my amusement and it all came together with a time quite funny.
My family and I went to a site. We spend all day having fun with it enough and we wanted to record the moment. As my father was sitting on the edge of a flap, asked him to take a picture. That was when he clicked on a button and it appeared the front camera of the phone. He was scared! Almost threw the phone in the water!
After all this discovery, he was so glad to see on the small screen began to beat photo of yourself. hahahahahaha and woe this record a fun discovery!

Children's Party (Luiz Danin)

Some years ago, when I was 8, my friends and I made a big and funny party in a house under construction next mine. We took some money of our parents and relatives and we bought a lot of juices, popcorns, chocolates, candies and things like that. We found 3 lamps (actually we stolen them from our homes) and we painted each of them with blue, purple and red ink, then we lighted the lamps creating a multicolored place. My cousin Moises, who always had more money than the rest of us, took his stereo and some CDs. I took a table, my friend Wanilza took a table cloth and we put our snacks there.

During the party, that lasted a good part of the night, we danced, ate and everything. Had no adult with us, we were all kids and this did the party most cool. This night was very, very nice and I always remember that.

1998

When I was a children, I usually watched the soccer games with my grandma. In July of 1998 happened the World Cup in France, and even though a little child, I remeber a couple of plays. But I can forget about my fear of fireworks. I remember that I hid under the table in the house of my grandma. Even though there was no danger I feared the fireworks. And that noise seemed so close to me that terrified me. I know that most people just remember the defeat of the Brazilian to France, but I just remember the noise of the fireworks.

My arm to break

When I was child I went to the Batista Campos Park for play with my brother. We were playing on (I don't know the name, but is like to ladder for the people to hang) and I fell, fainted. I woke  when threw water in my face. I broke the arm. I was four or five years.

Children's choir

When I was a kid, I always had some passion about music. I fortunately had the opportunity to join a choir. I was eight years old, and the pleasure was absolutely quick. Every saturday morning I used to go there, it was kind of my favorite part of the week.
I learned a lot about culture, art and especially people, it helped me a lot about dealing with them. The choir opened some doors for us. We had concerts in many different cultural celebrations, including local like círio de nazaré and global like christmas, which were really dynamic and costumized. The reharsals also were really exciting. We had a incredible opportunity to record an album in studio, actually they were two, which I not only sung but played flute.
They were really happy and memorable times of my childhood, and I really miss everything about them.

LUCAS ARAUJO

Fear of clown!

The most  of kids always liked going to the circus! So my mother decided to take me when I was 7 years old the first time. It was to be a day of happiness, but not .In this day I discovered how terrible was the figure of a clown to me when I saw a clown approaching me at the entrance of the circus I left my mother's hand and crying  go out running with fear the scariest thing I had ever seen!

The friend's farm

When I was eight years old, I met a farm and too it’s was the first time I traveled without my parents. The farm belonged to the friend’s father.  It was fun and interesting, because  I saw up close the horses, cattle and pigs! I never had seen these animals up close, only on television

The farm was very big! I walked with my friend to know every part of it. The farm had no electricity and it had many mosquitoes. I stayed three days on the farm. It was a memorable travel. Sorry, I don’t have photos of the farm, but I put some to represent how the it was.

PRANKS OF CHILDHOOD (Stéfany Góes)

When I was seven years old I dropped the cabinet to store dishes. It happened that my mother would not give me to eat more jambo and hid on top of the cabinet, I waited for her to sleep and I went there and climb in the closet, but it was little and turned to me, my luck was that the closet was in front of the stove and it was that held him and did not hurt me with that, but with the fall many dishes and cups were broken, Mom woke up very scared and did not give me a beating because he was worried about me from under the cabinet.

My school (Thayla)

My childhood was very entertaining. I like to remember my school where I studied from kindergarten to second series. was the most wonderful school in my life, I had many friends and played a lot in the park. I was a very mischievous child in my class, but the teachers liked me because I was always studious and got good grades. Mathematics never was a problem for me and I learned to read fast with only 6 years could read many texts. When I was doing something wrong in the classroom the teacher talked to the director and then the punishment was writing until hundred to go home. This happened several times LOL
Anyway, it was all very good. I had good teachers and I am grateful because learning to read and write is very important for the future.

(my teacher cried on my last day of school)

on two wheels

I’m only child but I always had many cousins. I and a one these cousins, get out of bike from the streets of Belém. The city was a brain-teaser for us, we met new people, new places in the city, sometimes, we risk to "morcegar", bus, cars or motorcycles, once arrived at "cidade nova”, we get lost and there we were without knowing  what to do, anyway, we arrived in our home midnight tired, hungry  this was a terrible.
Today this not that great, but when I was child was the big adventure. Two boys upon a bike, overnight, talk with different peoples, facing numerous difficulties, I loved my childhood.

Twin Sisters (Lidiane Benjamim)

When I was a kid my mother dressed me like my sister. Onlookers thought we were twins, and my age difference with my sister is 1 year and almost 2 months. She just stopped doing it when I was 10 and my sister 11. It was time anyway, because I hated walking like my sister. I still do not understand why she did it. She always says that he thought cute to see the two walking alike. Nowadays those who look at me and my sister can not imagine that one day we walked the same one to another, because we dress completely different from when we were kids.

My first and last bike (Ana Flávia Oliveira)

When I was seven years old, my parents gave me a bike. I didn't know how to ride bike, so my father began to teach me. All the afternoons my father went to the square around my home with me to train. When I learned and I was ready to go alone I went to all the places riding my bike.
Once I wanted go very fast but I didn't see the hole in the street, then the tire hit in the hole and I fell down with my face in the floor. I hit all my body in the asphalt. Since this day I never wanted ride bike again.
Actually never more I wanted see a bike in front of me.

My first bike (Camila Leão)

It all started when I started to ride my blue bike that I loved, she had small wheels that will not let me fall. I wanted to learn to ride without those little wheels, so I asked my dad to take them. I wanted to ride along with my brother who did not use these wheels.
One day Dad said he would take my bike for a person who took the wheels. But my beloved bike never came back. Years passed, and one of our vacation my brother said he would teach me to ride a bike in the park.
I loved the idea that would finally learn to walk, without such wheels. However, I took a giant bicycle without training wheels and NO BRAKE! I started riding the bike, everything is normal, until I realized that she had no brakes. And had a slope down the street. When I tried to stop the bike, waddled out on the floor and everything scraped my knee. But in the end, I learned to ride a bike.

Fireworks? (Françoise Cardoso Vinagre)

When I was a little girl, there was a fire next to my house.  I wasn’t afraid about it, because I thougth that it was fireworks. I did’nt understand why my mother and my neighborhoods were so  worrieds. All was so beautiful, and next to my house!!! It was so exciting. Only day after I could understand that fire is so close to us. It was so dangerous. And many people stayed burned.

Ending Christmas (Anderson Corrêa).

When I was only child. I was about Five or six years my parents and relatives always asked me about, what I wanted for Santa Claus. And I ever made a list with gifts for him to choose. But we always have a pig spirit in our family, in my case was my cousin. Ever year she asked if I still believe in Santa Claus. And I ever answered yes.

In this year, my parents asked to I made a list to Santa Claus fot then send to Him, but they forgotten the list in my house. How my cousin always went with them, she had a big deal do called me and answer what I wanted to Christmas, because Santa Claus never existed and my parents just said that to me for to behave and study.
That Year was when I did not believed anymore in Santa Claus.

I got my first bike at 5 years. My dream was going to cycle to Mosqueiro, because i saw some cyclists going group there. But I was very little. Until one day, I joined a group of cyclists, on a Sunday morning, I went to Mosqueiro of bike for the first time. It was really cool!
I returned in the late afternoon (I had left at 4:00 am). My mother was desperate, but it went well.
Conclusion, I was grounded for having arrived too late. hehe
                  But it was worth it!

And today, I keep pedaling around ...

THE HOLIDAY FUN AT GRANDMA'S HOUSE. (ELANE ALMEIDA)

When I was a child I always went to the house of my maternal grandmother, who is in Capanema-Pa. Whenever I would like to venture in streams with children who lived it, one day we were walking and playing in the vines in the woods, we walked so much that we got lost and arrived about 6 o'clock in the afternoon at home.

It was nerve-racking for we could find the way back and when I can find and finally get home, my grandmother to give me a spanking I'll never let her worried.

Zoo (Rodrigo Marinho)

In 2002, when I was younger. I and my family went to Rio de Janeiro. And there happened many cool things in my life. One of them, it was went to zoo. Where there were many animals, for example, lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes and everything. And one interesting thing there it was proximity that we could have with animals. Of course, the most dangerous animals we couldn't stay near them.
At zoo was very large I spent to walking it about three hours. But what I thought more interesting at the zoo it was to see how does giraffes was fed.
As you can see, this history is interesting for me, because it was first time that I went to zoo!

Coming of Age Day - Japan (Luiz Roso Danin)

Every year in Japan, in the second monday of January, is celebrated the Coming of Age Day (Seijin no Hi). On this date, is celebrated the legal majority, the passsage to adulthood, from all who completed 20 years old in the previous year, and now they are able to vote, smoke, buy alcohol and things like that, and assume all duties and responsibilities of adulthood.

During this day occur in all Japanese cities, various celebrations in honor of the new adults, such as concerts, authorities or guests' speeches, fireworks, games and karaoke, and things like that. On this day also is common for the youths win gifts and money from his family.
The Seijin no Hi began to be celebrated in Japan since the Edo period (1603-1868), when the boys became adults at 15 years old (part of his hair was shaved) and girls, around 13 years old (and their teeth were painted black). But it was only in 1876 that the Japanese government established the legal majority to 20 years old and in 1948 the Seijin no Hi became a national Holiday.

Women in Furisode

In Coming of Age Day, women dress a special silk formal kimono with long sleeves, elaborate designs and synthetic fur stoles, called Furisode, indicating that the young woman is single - according to Japanese customs, after marrying, the woman cut half the length of the sleeves of her kimono as a symbol of loyalty to her husband and moderation own vanity. As for the men, although they may dress the male Furisodes, they choose to wear suit and tie. You can see lots of Coming of Age Day pictures on the TokyoFashion.com.
