Hanami Festival - Contemplating the cherry blossoms (ELANE ALMEIDA)
The Hanami Festival means "Contemplate and appreciate" the cherry blossoms. This time between the end of March to mid-April or May, several species of cherry trees bloom throughout Japan, usually in parks, temples and other recreational areas, where they are grouped and organized for enjoyment, not only the Japanese, as tourists foreigners.
In this festival main activity is certainly the traditional picnic under the trees full of cherry blossoms.
