The Carnival

The Carnival is one festival that was created in the 600- 520 years a.C. Through this festival the Greeks performed their cults in thanks to the gods for soil fertility and production. The season of carnival was marked by the “good-by a meat” or from Latin “carne vale” that means “Carnival“. During the season the carnival has a lot of concentrations of festivals popular.

The old carnival was realized a big parties, where if ate, drank and participated of cheerful celebration and looking-for of pleasures. In the season of Carnival all the activities was suspended for seven days, because was celebrated during seven days generally in 17th- 23th of December. The peoples exchanged gifts, a king was elected of kidding and commanded the joke i n the street.

In the time of Renaissance the parties that happened in the days of carnival incorporated the masquerade, with your fantasies and the allegoric car.  And after joined other types of commemorations and the party was taking the modern size.

The modern carnival, is made with parade and fantasy, is product the Victorian society of century XIX. The Paris city was the main export model the festival of the world. Other cities be inspired this carnival as Nice, Nova Orleans,Toronto e Rio de Janeiro.

  In Rio de Janeiro was own created the style to make carnival with parades of samba school.
