“HOLI” or The
Festival of Colors is a festival happens India every year between the months of
February and March, when begins the spring. This day, people throw paints
others, with very drinks, food and music. The fun begins when children throw
paints in the parents and siblings, at the end they are painted and
colored.
The
primary day, “HOLI”, also known as “Dhulheti”, “Dhulandi” or “Dhulendi”, it’s
celebrated by people throw colored powder others, and greet other
people saying “Holi
Hai”. On the Eve, bonfires are lit. This day is
known as “Holika
Dahan” (death
of Holika) or “Chhoti
Holi” (little
Holi).
Holi
is celebrated in full moon of the month of “Phalugna” or “Falguna” (Phalgun
Purnima), generally
February or March. “Rangapanchami” occurs in the “Panchami” (fifth day of full moon), marking the end of the colored festivities.
