17 May - International Day against homophobia (Thayla Miranda)

Homosexuality was considered a disease, sin and even cause of death sentences. Any sexual orientation has the same clinical value, but it is still very difficult to the education of the society in the fight against homophobia. In 1990 the World Health Organization removed homosexuality from the list of mental diseases moving towards an egalitarian society between people with the same sexual orientation. In 1991 discrimination against homosexuals came to be regarded as human rights violations.
Several years have passed and yet the education and rehabilitation of societies still continue in this fight against homophobia. Even developed societies still need fight for equality.

Fortunately The National Council of Justice on Tuesday (05/14) across the country to adopted a resolution that requires the registry offices  celebrate the civil marriage and convert the stable same sex Union in marriage.

No matter the sexual option. You need to be happy.
